Who am I?

I go by the name of Friday Shabazz and I was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a left leaning millennial Gen Z’er and scholar. I graduated from Howard University in 2020 with my bachelors degree in political science, and I am currently a professional legal writer based in Dallas, Texas.

Why this site?

I’m big on critical thinking and caping for my fellow humans, especially minorities. I have a lot of opinions and insight that I think the world can benefit from. I originally started this website in 2015 when I was in high school to showcase local artistry as well as my own writing. Today FridayShabazz.com is back in blog form with a focus in culture, arts and lifestyle content. Thanks for being here.
